Where else but a small midwestern town that strives to be New York, but can't seem to muster up enough strength to be Chicago can you get the following amenities:
- $5.00 a day parking goes up to $20.00 just because the Indians started at noon
- Almost getting run over by a front-end loader because the pedestrian paths route through all of the crazy construction areas of Euclid
- Not being able to walk to a decent place for lunch because of the Euclid construction (either the places are closed or you have to Indiana Jones it down the road to get to Subway)
- It's sunny and looks like it's 75 degrees, but it's only 55 because of the Lake and wind
- World class traffic on a small town scale.

oh gosh, i really do not miss dealing with downtown traffic and parking. i was so excited to start my new job, away from downtown & that whole mess.
so imagine my suprise when mayfiend, 91, and lander all started construction this spring!
i can't even get to starbucks without a major headache. and that's sad!
That's what I said about working down on Rockside Rd. When I left there, construction was in full force. I left there and came to work right next to the Euclid Corridor project. Yippee!
